Weekly Roundup #2: I Should Probably Be Studying Edition
Another week, another roundup. This one is dedicated to college students who are desperately cramming for finals this weekend. Although this broke grad student doesn’t have any finals to take, I still remember that feeling of trying to cram all of that knowledge into my head in such a small amount of time. I also remember how relaxing it was to take a break every once in a while, so here are a few articles to get your mind off of the books for a while:
- Cash Money Life held the 1st Carnival of Financial Goals where people shared their 2008 Financial Resolutions. It’s really inspiring to read everyone’s goals for next year. Be sure to check out my 2008 financial resolution.
- Mrs. Micah shares an opportunity to earn a little extra cash. Who would turn that down?
- Single Guy Money talks about why breaking up is hard to do, especially when you’re addicted.
- Find out why Clever Dude is glad that the Fall 2007 semester is almost over!
- Once finals are over, it’s time to finish (or start) holiday shopping. Consumerism Commentary shares ten tips for avoiding credit card traps during the holidays. They should give college students an exam on this every year.

Thanks for the link. Now I’m worried I’ve created competition for myself.
Thanks for the mention BGS.
Thanks for the link!
Thanks for providing some stuff for me to read so I have distractions from studying/writing
@Mrs. Micah - Nonsense, there’s nothing wrong with some friendly competition
@SingleGuyMoney, Flexo: You’re welcome.
@Alan - Speaking of distractions, I should get back to writing my thesis…
Thanks for supporting the Carnival of Financial Goals!
I seriously can’t wait until this next week is over, but I know I’ll have to do it for another 5 semesters before I’m done.
Good luck with your own finals!
